Platinum Games has opened a teaser site for its new game

Platinum Games in my microblog announced the launch of a mysterious Platinum 4 teaser site, which is somehow connected with the next project of the Japanese studio. What exactly is still unclear.

The newly established portal does not contain any obvious hints about the upcoming announcement, except for the number 4 surrounded by the same number of stars from the Platinum Games logo.

Under the studio's Twitter post, users have already begun to guess what project the developers are hinting at. Among the most popular, but apparently humorous, assumptions are: the fourth part of Bayonetta, which hasn’t even received a threequel yet.

A little less comical a guess — Nintendo entrusted Platinum Games with the development of Metroid Prime 4. The game was announced back at E3 2017, and at the beginning of 2019 the project handed over to the employees of Retro Studios.

In addition, last week there were rumors that Platinum Games is preparing to announce re-releases of The Wonderful 101. According to unconfirmed information, projects should be presented today, February 3.

The release of The Wonderful 101 on new platforms (the game was originally released on Nintendo Wii U) will allegedly require financial assistance from interested users. According to GameXplain, the studio plans to launch Kickstarter campaign.

In addition to Bayonetta 3 for Nintendo Switch, Platinum Games is working on the fantasy action game Babylon's Fall for PC (Steam) and PS4, as well as some unannounced project.
