For example, it will be the first smartphone in the world to feature an ultra-thin in-display fingerprint scanner, which increases the accuracy and sensitivity of the sensor. It will be easier to unlock the device even at low temperatures with dry fingers.

Secondly, the device is equipped with NFC support, so fans of using a smartphone as a means of payment can take a closer look at this solution. Another notable plus is the integration of an infrared emitter at the top to control household appliances using the Mi Remote app.

Moreover, Xiaomi focuses on audio capabilities: the device, for example, is equipped with a large acoustic chamber with a volume of one cubic centimeter, thanks to which the sound volume promises to be twice as high compared to the previous generation. In addition, the device has retained the traditional 3,5 mm audio jack and supports high-quality Hi-Res sound.
