Yandex has announced the launch of a new service that will help pet owners find a lost or runaway pet.
With the help of the service, a person who has lost or found, say, a cat or a dog, can publish an appropriate announcement. In the message, you can specify the signs of the pet, add a photo, your phone number, email and the area where the animal was found or lost.
After moderation, the ad will be shown on the websites of Yandex and the company's advertising network to those users who are in the specified location. Thus, the messages will be displayed to those people who could see the animal or lost the pet themselves in a particular area.
The new service will notify the maximum number of people about the missing pet. This will significantly increase the chances of finding a pet.
The service was launched in partnership with PURINA, a pet food and care brand. So far, the service is working in test mode in Yekaterinburg. In the near future it will be available in Moscow, Novosibirsk, Samara, Tver, and then in other major cities of the country.
