Opel has unveiled the all-electric Corsa-e. The new electric car has a dynamic appearance and retains the compact dimensions of previous generations.

At 4,06m long, the Corsa-e continues to be a practical and well-organized five-seater. Since Opel is a subsidiary of French automaker Groupe PSA, the Corsa-e's exterior design shares similarities with the Peugeot e-208.

The roofline is 48mm lower compared to the previous model. This has no impact on passenger comfort, since the driver's seat is located 28 mm lower than usual. It is noted that handling and driving dynamics increase due to the fact that the center of gravity has shifted downwards.

The electric car is equipped with a responsive and dynamic control system that makes driving comfortable and convenient. The modern interior design can be complemented by leather seats.

The Corsa-e uses a 50 kWh battery pack that provides a range of 330 km. It is worth noting that in 30 minutes of charging you can replenish up to 80% of the battery energy. The electric car in question develops power up to 136 horsepower, and torque reaches 260 Nm. The driver can choose between Normal, Eco and Sport driving modes, using the most optimal option for himself. The speed of 50 km/h is reached in 2,8 seconds, while acceleration to 100 km/h will take 8,1 seconds.

The Corsa-e will come with a 7-inch or 10-inch touchscreen display and a satellite navigation system. You will be able to purchase a new electric car from Opel in a few weeks. The retail price of the Corsa-e has not yet been announced.
