February 18 and 20 at ΠΈ Intel hosts free seminars on Intel Software tools. At these seminars, everyone will be able to get practical skills in dealing with the latest products of the company under the guidance of experts in the field of code optimization on Intel platforms.
The main topic of the seminars is the effective use of Intel-based infrastructures from client devices to computing clouds, high-performance computing and machine learning.
During the practical exercises, you will work in a cloud infrastructure based on platforms from Intel, as well as put into practice a set of Intel solutions, ranging from using optimized libraries to microarchitectural optimization. The workshop will address the following specific questions:
- data analysis - using the Intel distribution for Python;
- scientific and engineering calculations - using Intel MKL to speed up the processing of small matrices;
- vectorization and performance optimization with Intel VTune Profiler and Intel Advisor.

- what you need to know about the new approach to software development, unified with the line of Intel computing solutions;
- how to evaluate application performance when porting to Intel GPU, which parts can be ported efficiently and at the lowest cost;

Participants need to have a laptop with them to access the computing cloud, in which the practical part of the training will take place. The practice is designed for professionals with programming and data processing skills with knowledge of Python and/or C/C++.
