In an interview, Tim Morton stated: β€œThe best way to find out our future is to hear the opinion of the players. I think if the audience is very interested in the RTS genre, then Blizzard should be told about it. The StarCraft II team loves real-time strategy games. For me, it has always been the best genre and has remained so.”

Kevin Dong fully agreed with his words, and then Morton pointed to other successful projects in the RTS category. The director mentioned Tooth & Tail, They Are Billions and development of Age of Empires 4 from Relic Entertainment and Microsoft. He then summed up his statement: β€œI think there will be a great opportunity [for development] in the future, but we need to see what awaits us.” It seems that Tim Morton is ready to take on a new project, but must receive approval from the leadership of Blizzard Entertainment.
