Red Dead Redemption 2 will replace GTA V on Xbox Game Pass in May

Microsoft decided to please fans of Rockstar Games in May Red Dead Redemption 2 will be part of an Xbox Game Pass subscription for Xbox One consoles. This major addition to the collection will allow subscribers to access the action-adventure movie as early as May 7th.

Simultaneously with the appearance of Red Dead Redemption 2 in Xbox Game Pass, the previous major game from the same developers will disappear from the service - Grand Theft Auto V. Xbox Game Pass subscribers can pre-download Red Dead Redemption 2 using the Xbox Game Pass mobile app to be ready when the game arrives on the service next month.

While Red Dead Redemption 2 launched on PC in November, the Xbox Game Pass membership will only be available on Xbox One and will include free access to the Red Dead Online shared world.

Microsoft is still offering Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, which combines Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass, for $1 for the first month. Xbox Game Pass typically costs $9,99 per month, while the Ultimate version (which includes Xbox Live Gold) costs $14,99 per month.
