Stacer 1.1.0 optimization and monitoring tool release

After a year of active development, the system optimizer Stacer 1.1.0 was released. Previously created in Electron - now rewritten in Qt. This made it possible to add new useful features and increase the speed of work several times, as well as to use many native Linux features.

The main purpose of the program:

  • Component cleaning of the system.
  • Monitoring of system resources.
  • System tuning and optimization.
  • Periodic maintenance and cleaning of the system from unnecessary files without the need to use different programs and commands.
  • Ability to set a plan for automating tasks (for example, cleaning application caches, package caches, logs, auto-cleaning the trash, etc.).
  • 13 separate sections with different types of tasks.

The new version added:

  • Monitoring and management of snap packages in the system.
  • New search function: in the root directory and by regular expressions (beta).
  • There was a manager of hosts and circle charts of monitoring of the main metrics.
