Tiny Core Linux 11.0 release

Team TinyCore announced the release of a new version of the lightweight distribution Tiny Core Linux 11.0. The fast operation of the OS is ensured by the fact that the system is fully loaded into memory, while it requires only 48 MB of RAM to work.

What's new in version 11.0 is the switch to kernel 5.4.3 (instead of 4.19.10) and wider support for new hardware. Busybox (1.13.1), glibc (2.30), gcc (9.2.0), e2fsprogs (1.45.4) and util-linux (2.34) have also been updated. The nouveau module is enabled, but the use of the nvidia binary driver is recommended.

Platform ISOs available x86 ΠΈ x86_64. Distribution sizes (increased by 1MB): 14MB with command line; 19 MB with flwm (32-bit); 27 MB - TinyCorePure64 (flwm).
