Alexander Polesitsky, First Deputy General Director of the European Media Group, spoke about the project, according to TASS. The player will be available to users through a browser, mobile applications and TV panels.

The cost of developing and launching the system will be about 3 million rubles. At the same time, the service will be available to users free of charge.

“It will be a convenient service, with the help of which listeners will get free online access to the radio broadcast of their favorite stations. The presence of a single player will make it more convenient to listen to stations in cars, through voice assistants and other modern devices that connect via the Internet,” Mr. Polesitsky said.

Large radio holdings take part in the project implementation - European Media Group, GPM Radio, Krutoy Media, Multimedia Holding, Choose Radio, etc.

Let us add that May 7th is Radio Day. This year marks 124 years since the outstanding Russian physicist Alexander Popov first demonstrated the method of wireless signal transmission.
