Ubisoft is going to compete with other gaming companies such as Electronic Arts, Microsoft and Sony in the game subscription services market, and Uplay+ will be used as one of the content sources in Google Stadia in 2020. True, with the latter it is not clear how Ubisoft and Google will share the proceeds, since both services involve the purchase of subscriptions, which in total can be somewhat more expensive than many potential customers would like.

All Uplay+ subscribers will automatically have access to the pre-test and early access programs for future games from the company and its partners, including the beta version of Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Breakpoint, which begins testing on September 5 and lasts only 3 days.

β€œWe're committed to giving players the freedom to choose how they want to access their favorite, classic, new and upcoming games from our catalog,” said Brenda Panagrossi, VP of Platform and Product Management. β€œIn September, PC players will be able to try and test Uplay+ for free to see if it’s right for them.”
