The court ordered "Yandex.Video" and YouTube to remove audio content on the lawsuit of "Eksmo"

According to the court decision, the services must remove them, otherwise the question of blocking resources will arise. At the same time, at the moment, the materials are still on the sites, and representatives of the resources refused to comment on the situation (Yandex) or simply ignored the request (Google).

Maxim Ryabyko, CEO of the Association for the Protection of Copyright on the Internet (AZAPI), said that YouTube has a mechanism for voluntary removal of pirated links. Yandex does not have such an opportunity, the company offers copyright holders to sue illegal sites directly.

It should be noted that the court rejected the first claim of Eksmo, considering the evidence insufficient. At the same time, publishers have already stated that video hosting sites are the largest sources of pirated content.
