The organizers of the EVO 2020 tournament announced their decision in Twitter. According to them, the cost of all purchased tickets will be automatically returned to buyers along with the payment for booking hotels: a special form will be opened on the website for applications next week. While the gradual lifting of restrictions has begun in some regions of the United States, the time has not yet come for large gatherings and events on the scale of EVO due to fears of a new outbreak.

To keep the spirit of EVO alive, the organizers will be hosting an online event this summer instead of the traditional event. Registration will take place next week. There are no additional details on how the list of games will change due to the transition to an online format.
