Microsoft seems to have accidentally published an internal document regarding the upcoming Windows 10X operating system. Spotted by WalkingCat, this material was briefly available online and provides more details on Microsoft's plans for Windows 10X. Originally a software giant as the operating system that will form the basis , but it will work on other similar dual-screen devices.
So far, Microsoft has only officially confirmed that Windows 10X will be available on foldable and dual-screen devices with changes to both the Start menu and taskbar, but it's clear the company has plans to bring these changes to traditional laptops as well. “For both clamshell and flexible devices, the taskbar will be the same basic model, with the ability to make changes using special switches,” the document explains.
In Windows 10X, Microsoft is referring to the Start menu as simply “Launcher,” which will put a stronger emphasis on local search: “Search integrates seamlessly with web results, available apps, and specific files on your device,” says document. "Recommended content dynamically updates based on your most used and recently accessed apps, files, and websites."
Windows 10X will also improve user identification capabilities through facial recognition as part of Windows Hello. “When the screen turns on, you immediately enter the identification state; unlike Windows 10, where you must first open the lock curtain before authentication, it appears in the text. “When the device wakes up, Windows Hello Face will instantly recognize the user and immediately go to their desktop.”

Microsoft will also simplify the Action Center and Quick Settings menu in Windows 10X. This will speed up access to the main device settings (Wi-Fi, Internet over cellular, Bluetooth, airplane mode, screen rotation lock) and allow you to prioritize the display of the most important parameters like battery life.
From an Office perspective, it looks like Microsoft is prioritizing traditional Win32 office suite and PWA web versions with Office.com for Windows 10X over UWP. Microsoft released UWP versions of its Office Mobile apps long ago, but the company put them on hold last year. In the coming years, we will likely see more investment in Office for the web ahead of the release of Windows 10X on Surface Duo and Neo towards the end of 2020.
