Not so long ago, Epic Games said that they were interested in adding the ability to revive allies in Fortnite in the manner of Apex Legends. For a long time, the developers did not pull - the vans intended for this have already appeared in the royal battle.
They are available in all major locations. A special card falls out of the pocket of a dead ally, which disappears after 90 seconds. Allies need to pick up a card, approach the van and hold the button for ten seconds, after which the van becomes unavailable for two minutes, and the partner is respawned.
Unlike Apex Legends, where resurrected match participants appear bare-handed, in Fortnite they can fend for themselves. They will have 100 pieces of wood, a regular pistol and 36 cartridges for it in their inventory - enough to react to the shots and try to fight back the offenders before returning to the lost items.
Also, with the release of the patch, two temporary modes became available. In Flying Explosives, you can only find grenade launchers and rocket launchers, and jetpacks that have disappeared from normal mode sometimes appear in buildings. And the returned "Team Rumble" still involves two teams of 20 players, who respawn 5 seconds after death, retaining all inventory items.
