On Friday afternoon, some Sberbank clients experienced difficulties when conducting transactions with deposits in the application and ATMs. The first reports of problems with the application began to arrive on the Downdetector portal around 16:XNUMX.

As Sberbank cardholders told Interfax, they could not log into mobile banking or online banking from a computer, so it was impossible to make a transfer or find out the amount of account balances.

When trying to find out the reason for what was happening, the answering machine on the bank’s hotline reported the following: β€œNow there may be difficulties logging into Sberbank Online. Please try again later."

By evening, the problems that had arisen had been eliminated and all systems were already operating as normal, RIA Novosti was told at the Russian bank. β€œSberbank announces the elimination of temporary difficulties when conducting transactions in Sberbank online and self-service devices. All bank systems are operating normally. We apologize to customers for the inconvenience when using the bank’s service,” said a Sberbank representative.
