Kalypso Media at E3 2019 Improved re-releases of Pyro's classic strategy games - Commandos 2 HD Remastered and Praetorians HD Remastered. Now they're out on Steam (console versions will be delayed until spring). On this occasion, a new trailer is presented.
Improved versions of old games are being developed by Yippee Entertainment and Torus Games, respectively. Each project includes a complete re-release of the original with improved texture quality, models, high resolution support, updated tutorials and campaign missions, controller support, and in Praetorians, a multiplayer mode.
Commandos 2 HD Remaster will be released in spring 2020 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Linux и macOS. In turn, Praetorians HD Remaster, in addition to Windows, will also be available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in spring 2020.
Commandos 2 HD Remastered invites you to lead a squad of elite commandos who will go behind enemy lines and complete a series of especially dangerous missions during World War II. The HD version promises a redesigned interface, optimized controls, an introductory mission, and improved graphics quality.
In the strategy Praetorians HD Remastered, the player will have to operate during the era of the formation of the Roman Empire, proving his worth on the battlefields in Egypt, Gaul and, finally, in Italy itself, in order to eventually become emperor. This task is not easy - in order to achieve victory, you will have to effectively use your troops and use the weaknesses of your opponents.
