During the June E3 2019 exhibition, developers from the Polish studio Bloober Team, known for the Layers of Fear and Observer dilogy, presented the Blair Witch horror movie. The project was created in the universe of "The Blair Witch Project", the beginning of which was laid by the sensational low-budget horror film of 1999. The Game Informer portal recently published with the gameplay, and now the authors have presented a gameplay trailer.
The main character walks through the forest with a dog, which he gives commands to search, dig the ground, and so on. He also encounters visions, dark memories, uses a flashlight, levers and a camera, explores a house coming to life before his eyes. Along the way, he actively communicates with someone on the radio, talking about his unusual experiences and more and more confidently voicing local legends about a witch living in these places.
Blair Witch is described as follows: β1996. A little boy goes missing in the Black Hills Forest in Burkittsville, Maryland. You join the search as Ellis, a former cop with a troubled past. An ordinary investigation quickly turns into an endless nightmare, because you have to confront the Blair Witch - a dark force that has settled in the forest ... ".
Plot psychological horror from the first person Blair Witch will offer to find a way out of the enchanted forest along with the only companion - the faithful dog Bullet. Space and time are distorted here, and the horrors sent by the Blair Witch dwell. As you progress, you will also have to deal with the fading mind of the protagonist.
Blair Witch is announced for Xbox One and PC and will release on August 30th.
