Biostar has unveiled new BIOS versions for its Socket AM4 motherboards that give them support for the upcoming Ryzen 3000 processors. Biostar has explicitly stated that the updates are specifically for XNUMXrd generation Ryzen chips, while other manufacturers have talked about support for uncertain "future Ryzen processors.

Biostar has released updates for all its motherboards based on AMD 300- and 400-series system logic chips, including models based on the junior AMD A320 chipset. And here it is worth noting that other manufacturers are still in no hurry to ensure compatibility of boards based on AMD A320 and future Ryzen processors. For example, ASUS, which also recently introduced new BIOS versions with support for Ryzen 3000, limited itself to AMD B350, B450, X370 and X470 chipsets.

According to the manufacturer, its engineers have made every effort to ensure the compatibility of all current motherboards with Socket AM4 and future Ryzen 3000 processors even before the release of the latter. Recall that the announcement of the 7nm Ryzen 3000 processors based on Zen 2 will take place in less than two weeks, on May 27, as part of the Computex 2019 exhibition.
