Release of Launchpad Daemon 1.5.1, a software analog MIDI controller

New release available Launchpad Daemon β€” a software analogue of a MIDI controller for creating music using buttons (Pads) for smartphones and tablets on the Android platform. The program supports a client-server mode, in which notes are sent to an intermediate server program, and then to any program that supports MIDI sockets; in normal mode, the server is able to play sounds itself. Version 1.5.1 is fully compatible with the server version 1.5 since the main changes were made only in the client.

In the new version:

  • The transition to Qt Quick Controls 2 has been made, and therefore all menus have been completely redesigned.
  • Added a menu for switching client/server, offline modes, and entering the server address.
  • Added a percentage indicator showing the progress of loop playback completion; this feature is not implemented in client mode as it requires synchronization and the indicator will show inaccurate information in any case.
  • Fixed a bug where each subsequent released button after the first one outside the rectangle remained graphically active.
