Release of ncspot, Spotify client in Rust

ncspot 0.9, a lightweight command-line client for the Spotify music service, has been released. It's written in the Rust programming language and maintained by over fifty developers. The interface is themeable and built using the ncurses library. PulseAudio is used as the default audio server (optional compilation flags are required to use an alternative audio backend). The source code is distributed under the BSD license. Compilation for Linux, Windows и macOS.

According to the developer, this client compares favorably with the official and alternative clients by a wider coverage of operating systems (in particular, *BSD systems are supported), significantly lower resource consumption (RAM consumption is more than 20 times lower, 46.2 MiB instead of 1000.0 MiB ), as well as increased stability due to the use of the Rust language.

The new version has only cosmetic improvements and a number of new features available through the interface. In particular, a command for showing recommendations has been added, the “Share album” button has appeared in the menu, and the ability to attach several commands to one hot key has been provided.
