Yesterday, April 10, the first laureates were awarded in the Moscow office of Yandex Ilya Segalovich Prize, created this year to support young researchers and the scientific community of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan. In the three months since the launch of the award, 262 applications have been received from young professionals and supervisors, who could be nominated by their students and graduate students. The Award Council has selected nine of the best young researchers and four research supervisors. The youngest laureate is only twenty-one years old.

Students and graduate students who have become laureates of the award will receive 350 thousand rubles each and the opportunity to attend an international conference on artificial intelligence, a personal mentor and an internship at the Yandex Research Department, managers won 700 thousand rubles each.
