Publisher XSEED Games has announced that the adaptation of JRPG Rune Factory 4 Special for the Western market has been completed and the game will go on sale at the end of February.
The original Rune Factory 4 was created for the Nintendo 3DS handheld console and released in Japan in 2012, followed by the US and European releases in 2013 and 2014, respectively. Rune Factory 4 Special is a remake of the pocket version, expanded and improved for the Nintendo Switch. The Japanese premiere took place earlier, on July 25, 2019.
