Alienware presented the concept of a smartphone as a second screen with game statistics

On the eve of the start of CES 2020, Dell, or more precisely its gaming brand Alienware, presented a concept that it called rather artlessly - Alienware Second Screen. Today, everyone has a smartphone, so why not use this screen for the convenience of players?

Alienware presented the concept of a smartphone as a second screen with game statistics

Alienware Second Screen will allow you to display information about the load on the processor, graphics accelerator and RAM, along with information about the temperature conditions of PC components, directly during the game on your mobile phone screen. For these purposes, you will no longer have to switch between the game and Alienware Command Center during full-screen mode.

Then, based on feedback from the gaming community, Alienware is going to gradually expand the functionality of Second Screen, adding support for controlling the backlight, game settings, monitoring other indicators, and so on.

There is hardly any fundamental innovation in the concept itself - there are many such utilities. For example, AMD is promoting Link, which is available to all owners of Radeon graphics cards for streaming games from PCs to smartphones. However, maybe Dell can make its technology more convenient and natural? Let's see - at present we are talking only about a concept, the time of implementation of which has not yet been announced
