Since mid-2018, Tmall has been focusing on developing its merchant network. To date, several hundred sellers have registered on the platform in a variety of categories - from electronics and clothing to everyday goods. In six months their number has doubled; and half of this number are Russian brands.

Until now, merchants may have had some difficulty registering due to manual processes. Now, the introduction of an automatic registration system is beginning, which will greatly simplify access to the site and, in the future, will provide an opportunity to enter the AliExpress platform. The transition to the new system will significantly reduce the registration time, as well as greatly simplify the process of submitting applications from sellers.

“More and more large companies, including retail chains, are considering Tmall as an excellent platform for future development. This is due to our business model, which, unlike other marketplaces, does not impose the use of our services to serve customers. For example, our merchants can send orders from their warehouses, communicate through their support team, and so on,” says Tmall management.

It is also noted that over the past month, such well-known brands as Bosch, CROCS, Nestle Purina, Chicco, Huggies and others have become Tmall partners.
