“Our net income in the first quarter was well above forecast, driven by very robust performance from our games – notably Rainbow Six Siege and Assassin's Creed Odyssey – and a very strong increase in investment in PC and console players, led by record high acquisition levels per player, Yves Guillemot, co-founder and CEO of Ubisoft, said. “As well as a very good start to the fiscal year, the positive reception of our games at E3 confirmed expectations for the entire year. Ghost Recon Breakpoint was noticed by many content creators and earned the highest like score of any game at E3. Watch Dogs: Legion made a huge impression with its innovative gameplay and brought the franchise back into the spotlight. Our Fiscal Year 2019-2020 lineup, which also includes the Rainbow Six Quarantine and Gods & Monsters, is one of the strongest we've seen in five years."

Ubisoft also intends to increase the share of sales on the PC. Yves Guillemot said that the platform-exclusive Anno 1800 performed well in terms of sales on the Epic Games Store - but did not give specific numbers. For the second quarter of fiscal year 2019-2020, Ubisoft is forecasting a net income of $348,11 million.
