Beta release of the integrated SeaMonkey 2.53 Internet application suite

Resumed development of a set of Internet applications SeaMonkey, which combines within one product a web browser, an email client, a news feed aggregation system (RSS/Atom) and a WYSIWYG html page editor Composer (Chatzilla, DOM Inspector and Lightning are no longer included in the basic composition ). The first beta release of the new SeaMonkey 2.53 branch has been offered for testing.

Browser engine used in SeaMonkey updated to the state Firefox 60 (previous release used Firefox 52) porting security-related fixes and some improvements from Firefox 72. The built-in email client is synchronized with Thunderbird 60.3. The bookmark manager has been renamed to Library and now also provides tools for viewing your browsing history. The download manager implementation has been moved to the new API, but retains the old look and feel. By default, TLS version 1.3 is enabled.
