The British developer has remade the first level of Super Mario Bros. in a first person shooter

The level is made in the form of platforms floating in the sky, and the main character received a weapon that shoots plungers. As in the classic game, here you can collect mushrooms, coins, break some environmental blocks and kill monsters.

Noonan completed the project as part of a Mapcore competition, in which they offered to remake one of the levels of Unreal Tournament, Counter-Strike 1.6 or Super Mario Bros. It is worth adding that the game designer has previously worked on such projects as Far Cry, Watch Dogs, Crackdown 2 and others. Now Noonan is working on Gears Tactics.

Super Mario Bros. released in 1985 for the NES. The protagonist of the game today is one of the most recognizable characters in the gaming industry.
