Corsair has announced the A500 large-sized thermal solution suitable for use with AMD and Intel processors.
The solution includes an aluminum radiator with dimensions of 137 × 169 × 103 mm. From its opposite sides, one 120mm ML120 PWM fan is installed.
Fan speed is adjustable from 400 to 2400 rpm. The declared noise level does not exceed 36 dBA. An air flow with a volume of up to 127 cubic meters per hour is formed.
The design is completed by four copper heat pipes made using the technology of direct contact with the processor cover (Direct-Contact).
The cooler dimensions are 144 × 169 × 171 mm. We are talking about compatibility with Intel 1150/1151/1155/1156/2011/2011-3/2066 processors, as well as AMD AM4/AM3/AM2 chips.
The Corsair A500 cooler is available for an estimated price of $100. The manufacturer's warranty is five years.
