According to Ahmad, "all the new Assassin's Creed leaks to date have been unreliable." Moreover, according to the analyst, the word Ragnarok will not even be in the title of the game.

Ahmad recognized, that some key points of such rumors (improving combat and role-playing systems) are still related to reality, but not because their authors have insider information, but because of their reliance on Kotaku.

"These recent leaks are based on the original Kotaku material about Assassin's Creed Kingdom, so some of them are true, while others are not far from the truth. But other than that, it’s just a bunch of educated guesses,” Ahmad said.

The Kotaku article mentioned is dated May 2019. In the publication, the site's news editor Jason Schreier only confirmed that the Vikings will indeed be in the game.

Recently, rumors about a new part of Assassin's Creed have become more frequent. In early January, the game allegedly appeared on the websites of several online stores, but material evidence turned out to be fabricated.

According to another rumor, the announcement of the next Assassin's Creed will take place in February at the PlayStation Meeting, and the release should be expected in the fall. In the future, the project will be released on consoles not only of the current, but also of the coming generations.
