ESET Company about the release of new versions of NOD32 Antivirus and NOD32 Internet Security products designed to protect devices running Windows, macOS, Linux and Android from malicious files and Internet threats.
The new generation of ESET security solutions differs from previous versions by more effective tools to counter modern cyber threats, increased reliability and speed. Particular attention was paid by the developers to the inclusion of protection tools using machine learning technologies and artificial intelligence systems based on neural networks.
The Intrusion Prevention System (HIPS), the Anti-Phishing module and the Home Network Protection component have also been improved. Now ESET NOD32 products check all devices connected to the home router and provide information about them (name, model, manufacturer, etc.), as well as report possible problems - for example, unpatched vulnerabilities or a weak password. To check the strength of a password, ESET solutions can simulate the simplest attacks by enumerating combinations.
Significant improvements to the Online Payment Protection module are also reported. Now it works with an expanded list of banking sites and cryptocurrency resources, and also supports the HTTP/2 protocol. ESET NOD32 Internet Security contains a built-in list of sites (with the ability to edit), when you go to which a special secure browser opens.
