According to the forecast, the number of commercial drones should grow to 2023 units by 835. It was initially projected that there would be 000 registered commercial drones in the US by 2022, but the industry's unexpectedly rapid growth is likely to reach that mark as early as 452.
The FAA report states that there has been some uncertainty in the industry in recent years, but the area continues to be promising and has good potential. The previous growth rates are unlikely to be maintained, but the industry will continue to develop ahead of previously forecasts.
