In the new trailer, the developers also introduced the latest character to join Blaze Fielding and Axel Stone, a guitar-playing warrior named Cherry Hunter.

Cherry Hunter is the daughter of Adam Hunter from the original Streets of Rage. Trained by her father and Axl, Cherry learned self-defense from an early age. Her interest in following in her father's footsteps and becoming a police officer soon faded, replaced by a love of music. She currently plays with her rock band in the most dangerous places in Wood Oak. Despite her appearance, the girl is able to fend for herself.
