The GeForce NOW catalog continues to be in a fever. NVIDIA has announced that 2K Games games have left the service. “We are working with 2K Games to re-enable its games in the future,” the company said.

GeForce NOW has lost support for 2K Games

2K Games is the publisher of games such as XCOM 2, Borderlands 3, Sid Meier's Civilization VI and NBA 2K. All of them left GeForce NOW immediately after the announcement. Previously, projects from Activision Blizzard and Bethesda Softworks left the service. Games from Capcom, Rockstar Games, and Square Enix have also disappeared from the GeForce NOW catalog after being available during the beta testing period that ended in early February.

NVIDIA says publishers will be bringing back their games "as they continue to evaluate the value of GeForce NOW." And, according to the company, they will appreciate it in a positive way. The representative of 2K Games has not yet commented on the situation.

GeForce NOW is a cloud-based service that allows PC gamers to stream their games from the cloud to an Android computer, tablet, or smartphone, as well as NVIDIA Shield TV or Shield Portable devices. Users can only stream titles purchased from digital platforms such as Steam, uPlay, and the Epic Games Store.

Shortly after Activision Blizzard has excluded its games from the service catalog, the reason for the incident became known: NVIDIA and the publisher simply did not understand each other. Most likely the same with Bethesda Softworks. Amazing case happened with Hinterland's The Long Dark - The game was added to GeForce NOW without permission from the developer. In response to the claims, NVIDIA offered Hinterland Studio founder Raphael van Lierop a new graphics card. As a result, The Long Dark is no longer in GeForce NOW. "Sorry to those who are disappointed that you can no longer play The Long Dark on GeForce NOW," van Lierop wrote in Twitter. “Please address your complaints to them, not to us. Developers need to control where their games exist."

But recently NVIDIA had a positive streak. Deadliest Catch: The Game, Dungeon Defenders: Awakened, Romance of the Three Kingdoms XIV, Dead or Alive 6, and Nioh Complete Edition added to the GeForce NOW library this week.
