MIPT, together with the Phystech Schools Development Fund with the support of the Presidential Grants Fund, opened set for a free online course "Quick start in sports programming" for undergraduate students of technical specialties, as well as for everyone who has basic programming skills.

The open course is the first stage of the RuCode sports programming intensive training project. You can register for it until March 15th. Classes will last four weeks - one thematic module per week.

Experienced trainers of the international educational project on programming Moscow Workshops, members of the jury of various competitions and olympiads: Vladislav Nevstruev, Oleg Khristenko, Philip Rukhovich and Ilya Stepanov worked on the preparation of the training program, which included an introduction to basic algorithms, number theory, dynamic programming and graph theory. Classes will be held in the form of video lectures, much attention is also paid to independent work on solving problems.

Upon completion of the online course, students will be able to try their hand at the RuCode festival. Those who successfully complete the course by mid-April 2020 will have the opportunity to take a qualifying test to participate in a full-time three-day intensive course.

The project also involves universities and partner organizations from Vladivostok, Yekaterinburg, Izhevsk, Irkutsk, Kazan, Krasnoyarsk, Novosibirsk, Perm, Saratov and Chita. The final stage of the program will be the RuCode festival. Its winners will be invited to Moscow at the expense of the organizers as guests to the finals of the ICPC World Student Programming Championship.
