Publisher Paradox Interactive has released one of its most successful XNUMXX games, Crusader Kings II, for free. The project can be downloaded by everyone on Steam. However, you need to purchase add-ons, of which a decent amount has been released for the game, separately.

Paradox does not exclude that in the future it will transfer its other projects to a similar distribution scheme. Players will be able to download the base version for free, while numerous add-ons will have to be purchased separately.

The sequel was released in 2012, and fans have been asking for a new project for a long time. It should be noted here that the publisher promised announce some kind of global strategy at PDXCON 2019, and the conditional Crusader Kings III may well become this novelty. Now on Steam, the second part has 89% positive reviews out of 40 overall reviews.
