Digerati Distribution and Failbetter Games have announced that they will release Sunless Skies: Sovereign Edition on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch in the first half of 2020.
Sunless Skies: Sovereign Edition was released on PC in January 2019. This is a gothic horror RPG set in the Fallen London universe, with an emphasis on exploration and storytelling. Players take on the role of a spaceship captain as they explore the space of hostile factions, stumble upon lurking deities, and learn forbidden lore.
The ship has a steam engine, but adapted for off-rail travel. The ship can be improved, as well as equipped with weapons and exotic equipment. In addition, the player needs to manage the crew and strike a balance between the amount of stored fuel and provisions and the desire to explore new horizons, knowledge or wealth.
In addition, Sunless Sea: Zubmariner, already available on PlayStation 4, will release on Xbox One and Nintendo Switch in 2020. All console versions of Zubmariner are developed by Nephilim Game.
