Hyundai will use artificial intelligence to improve safety

Hyundai Motor Company has announced a collaboration with Israeli startup MDGo to develop next-generation automotive safety systems.

Hyundai will use artificial intelligence to improve safety

MDGo specializes in artificial intelligence (AI) systems for healthcare. As part of the partnership, MDGo will help Hyundai create a range of connected car services that will enable greater collaboration between the automotive and healthcare industries.

We are talking, in particular, about developing a platform based on artificial intelligence that will be able to predict the severity of injuries to the driver and passengers in an accident, making it possible to estimate in advance the amount of necessary medical care.

MDGo's injury analysis system uses a sophisticated AI algorithm that takes into account various collision parameters and their impact on occupants. Thanks to various vehicle sensors and MDGo technology, Hyundai Motor will be able to send comprehensive data to rescuers about the likely severity of damage and the activation of vehicle safety systems.

β€œMDGo AI technology analyzes these accidents and collects numerous data, calculating various scenarios of what could happen to passengers and the car. Within seven seconds of a collision, a detailed report of possible damage, written in precise medical language, is sent to emergency services,” says Hyundai.

In this way, emergency services will be able to prepare in advance to provide the necessary medical assistance. This will help save time and save lives.

It is important to note that the AI system is constantly learning and improving its analysis of various emergency situations. In other words, as data accumulates, the forecasts produced by the system will become more and more accurate.
