The film company Paramount Pictures listened to fans of the Sonic gaming universe and completely remade the film version of the famous supersonic hedgehog. You can see his new image in the latest trailer for the film Sonic the Hedgehog.
Let us recall that in the spring of this year the film company published film, which caused a storm of criticism from fans. The hedgehog shown there was not only far from its game prototype, but in some places it looked like it came from a horror movie. Even one of the creators of the game series, Yuji Naka, ironically asked whether the film was really being made about Sonic. In general, the reaction was so strong that Paramount postponed the film's release date and decided to completely redraw the main character. The new premiere is scheduled for February 14, 2020.
In the new trailer, the character's image has become much closer to his classic appearance. Now Sonic has acquired a more cartoonish appearance: with large eyes, a shortened torso, gloves on his hands and without those scary teeth (initially they looked like he had a false human jaw in his mouth).
"Sonic the Movie" is a live-action adventure comedy. Sonic arrives from his world on Earth, meets a new friend, Tom Wachowski (James Marsden), and together they go on a hilarious journey to escape Dr. Robotnik (Jim Carrey). The insidious doctor is hatching a plan to take over the world - to do this he needs to catch Sonic and master his incredible power.
