However, the situation with the iPad looks different. Support for at least two tablet models will end: iPad mini 4 and iPad Air 2. Thus, the oldest model with the ability to βgrowβ to iOS 14 will be the iPad (5th generation).
The operating system itself is expected to be unveiled at WWDC in June, with the first beta version to be released shortly thereafter. It has not yet been specified what innovations should be expected in the fourteenth version of the mobile OS, in addition to the already traditional bug fixes. But obviously, there will be 5G support and a couple of new artificial intelligence functions.
It goes without saying that this information should be taken with a grain of salt, because the data has not yet been confirmed even by leaks from Cupertino, not to mention an official statement. All that remains is to wait.
