He seeks revenge on his creators at Hammond Robotics. In addition, the new heavy sniper rifle "Guardian" and 100 new cosmetic items will appear in the game.
Changes on the map are related specifically to Hammond Robotics and are designed to force players to make new decisions. So, a planetary harvester appeared on the map, with the help of which Hammond Robotics extracts precious metals from the core of the planet for unknown purposes. The red beam will be visible from anywhere on the island, which will help in orientation. The tiered design of the harvester is unlike anything else in the World's End, so that players will have new opportunities. The fights will be mostly isolated, with squads sneaking in through long corridors leading into the center.
The capitol, which was the most spacious location in season 3, was torn into two parts due to the activities of Hammond Robotics: the abyss swallowed one of the buildings and divided the area into two separate fragments: western and eastern. You can cross the fault with a cable or a "bridge" from a fallen skyscraper. However, the special abilities of Pathfinder and Octane will allow the units to cross the abyss anywhere.
When the player falls into the abyss, a powerful air current will save them from volcanic death and allow them to slowly land on the opposite side, while taking 25 points of damage from unbearable heat and ash. This is very dangerous and makes the player an almost defenseless target for a while.
Between Ground Zero and Skyhook, a new small area has appeared - the Explorer Camp, where you can rest after the horrors of the Capitol, Refinery and Ground Zero. This camp will create new possible routes of movement. For example, you can go through the railway tunnel to get to the Skyhook. The zone is small, and the weapon racks will be an incentive to visit it.
