Excalibur Games and Just Add Oil Games have announced that road adventure Road to Guangdong will be released on Xbox One in 2019.
In Road to Guangdong, players, along with Sunny and her aunt Guu Ma, will travel through China in the 90s of the last century in an old family car. They will have to keep it running: refuel, care for and repair. All this for the sake of meeting relatives and saving the family restaurant.
In the story, 23-year-old Sunny, an art graduate, inherits her family's restaurant. She needs to win a place in the family and revive relationships with relatives, to whom she goes with her 68-year-old aunt Guu Ma. Along the way, the girl will also have to recreate secret recipes.
βTravel around China in the beloved but well-worn family car nicknamed βSandy.β Take care of your tires, fuel consumption and engine health while traveling through the beautiful Guangdong province. It won't be an easy road trip in such an old car, so be prepared to take a look under the hood. Add oil, refuel, keep an eye on the engine and stock up on the necessary parts so you donβt have to turn to a mechanic for help,β the game description says.
The PC version of Road to Guangdong will be released on Steam Early Access on May 16 and will remain in Early Access for two to three months.
