Libra Association Creates Facebook Cryptocurrency Control Committee

The Technical Steering Committee (TSC) is comprised of five experts, each of whom is expected to bring their unique perspective and valuable experience to the project in meeting the challenges. The expert group will be responsible for the technical roadmap of the Libra project. TSC members will oversee the development of solutions as the need arises as the organization moves towards the launch of a new cryptocurrency. In addition, experts will create an active developer community within the Libra project.

It is expected that already in the first quarter of 2020, TSC members will form the technical management structure for the project to launch a new cryptocurrency and prepare the relevant documentation. We are talking about the development of an open source mechanism, the use of which will allow the developer community to propose any technical changes to the Libra network.

TSC includes Anchorage Co-Founder and President Diogo Monica, Calibra Project Manager George Cabrera, Bison Trails CEO Joe Lallouz, Union Square Ventures Partner Nick Grossman , as well as Ric Shreves, head of emerging technologies at Mercy Corps.

In the future, the Libra Association promises to publish details on how members of the developer community can help support the technical development of the Libra network.
