Massive shooter Planetside Arena with hundreds of players in each match will open doors in September

Multiplayer shooter Planetside Arena was planned to be released back in January of this year, but the development was delayed. At first, its launch was delayed until March, and in the last week of August, the final release date for early access appeared - September 19th.

The first version of the game will include two team modes: one with squads of three people each, and the second will have twelve participants in one team. More than 300 players take part in the match.

Buyers will be offered Steam two editions. The $20 Recruit Edition includes a standard copy of the shooter, multiple crates, and an Early Access-exclusive Alpha Strike banner. And the expensive $50 Legendary Edition includes even more crates, a unique M-20 skin, and special armor for the Stormtrooper, Medic, and Engineer.

At the same time, the developers told what they plan to add to Planetside Arena in the future. The largest Massive Clash mode, which is a major battle of thousands of users on a single server, will launch in the second quarter of 2020. Much more, including a solo mode and a variety of seasonal events, should be expected sooner, either later this year or early next year.
