Modders have found a way to improve the quality of graphics in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Complete Edition on Nintendo Switch. The authors of the Modern Vintage Gamer YouTube channel claim that the game can be run at 60 frames per second on a modified version of the console.
Enthusiasts have stated that the Nintendo Switch version of The Witcher 3 is a copy of the PC version of the game, only with low graphics settings. It runs on the console at 720p at 30 frames per second.
They also found out that anyone can unlock additional graphics features in the game. To do this, they say, you need to insert one file into the system. This will disable dynamic resolution and enable features such as foliage density and post-processing.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Complete Edition is out on Nintendo Switch on October 15th. The ported version received positive reviews from critics, scoring an 85 on Metacritic.
