The Yandex.Drive carsharing service has introduced the Fix tariff, which provides for trips at fixed prices.
Recall that "Yandex.Drive" earned in Moscow in February last year. In December, the service became available in St. Petersburg. Until now, car rentals have been calculated by the minute.
The scheme of trips under the new tariff "Fix" is as follows. The driver needs to specify the destination, after which the application will calculate the amount that the trip will cost. This figure is final - it will not change if the motorist completes the trip within the "green zone" - at the destination or on neighboring streets. If the user decides to end the rental in another area, the application will recalculate the cost of the trip at the usual per-minute rate.
The cost of the trip is calculated by a special algorithm. It takes into account many factors, including traffic and the time it takes to travel and find parking upon arrival. The algorithm also takes into account the demand for cars at the destination - if free cars are required there, the trip will cost less.
The new fare is now available on Audi A3, Audi Q3, Genesis G70, Kia Rio, Kia Rio X-Line, Nissan Qashqai, Renault Kaptur, Ε koda Octavia, Ε koda Rapid and Volkswagen Polo.
We add that all service rates include the cost of gasoline, parking and extended insurance - it includes comprehensive insurance, OSAGO and DSAGO, as well as passenger and driver life insurance.
