Published Corrective release of Chrome 78.0.3904.108, which fixes 0-day vulnerabilities used to organize two successful hacks demonstrated at the competition Tianfu Cup. Issues (CVE-2019-13723, CVE-2019-13724) were present in the code for Interactions with Bluetooth devices and allowed access to an already freed memory area (use-after-free) or to data beyond the boundary of the allocated buffer.

In the new version, the context menu also included returned function to close all tabs except the current one (“Close other Tabs”). Let us recall that, having analyzed the statistics obtained as a result of collecting telemetry about the methods of work of users, the developers came to the conclusion, that the “Close other Tabs” function can be removed, since it is in demand by only 2% of users. After Google encountered user dissatisfaction with this decision, it decided to return the remote feature. Discontent also caused moving the functions of restoring a closed tab and adding all tabs to bookmarks from the context menu of tabs to the context menu shown when you click on the free area to the right of the tab buttons.
