Canonical Company builds of the server edition of the Ubuntu 19.10.1 distribution for Raspberry Pi boards. 32-bit builds for Raspberry Pi 2, 3 and 4, and 64-bit for Raspberry Pi 3 and 4. In the proposed assemblies, USB support on Raspberry Pi 4 boards with 4GB of RAM was brought to a working state (previously due to only boards with 1 and 2 GB of RAM were supported in the kernel).
It is noted that Canonical categorizes Raspberry Pi boards as the primary platforms for Ubuntu and is actively working with the Raspberry Pi foundation organizations to provide quality support for new boards in its distribution. Of the future plans, the formation of specialized assemblies of Ubuntu Server 18.04 LTS and Ubuntu Core for the Raspberry Pi is mentioned.
