Chieftec has announced the CW-01B-OP chassis, designed to be the basis for a high-performance workstation. Soon the novelty will go on sale in the Russian market.
The product, as noted, provides high functional flexibility when using external and internal drives, as well as various cooling systems. In particular, four bays for external devices are available - 3 Γ 5,25 inches and 1 Γ 3,5 inches. Inside there is room for seven drives in the form factor of 3,5 or 2,5 inches.
You can mount ATX, Mini-ITX or Micro-ATX motherboards. The number of available expansion slots is seven; You can use video adapters up to 410 mm long (if you remove the middle hard drive bay).
When using air cooling, you can use up to six 120mm fans. In the case of liquid cooling, it is possible to install radiators up to 280 mm in size. The CPU cooler height limit is 165 mm.
