$570 ASRock X1000 Aqua Board Comes with Water Block and Supports DDR4-5000

Computex 2019 turned out to be a good place to showcase motherboards based on the AMD X570 chipset, because the topic of its effective cooling was literally on everyone's lips. Information about the high power consumption of this component began to be confirmed in the exhibits of the event, since all boards of this generation had to switch to active cooling of the chipset, as in the old and relatively good times, when no one complained about such a layout feature of boards.

Motherboard ASRock X570 Aqua against the backdrop of many stood out the fact that it raised the concern for cooling to the absolute, equipping the processor socket and its surroundings, power elements, and the AMD X570 chipset with the so-called "monoblock". This was not enough for the creators, and then they covered a significant part of the motherboard surface in aluminum "armor". An outlet for "computer voyeurs" were transparent inserts in water blocks on the processor socket and chipset, and controlled RGB lighting was designed to appeal to modding fans.

This week, ASRock officially unveiled this motherboard, once again listing its unique qualities. Let's start with the fact that it will be released in a limited edition of a thousand copies, so it will be possible to buy a board for $1000 only in the markets of some regions. Water blocks covering the processor socket, power elements and chipset are made of copper with a nickel-plated surface, which allows them to coexist peacefully with aluminum inserts. Three PCI Express x16 version 4.0 slots for installing video cards have steel reinforcement, which allows them to easily coexist with the heaviest instances.

A high-quality component base, a 14-phase power subsystem, an β€œelite grade” textolite and a wiring focused on maximum performance - all this allows the motherboard of this model to claim the attention of overclockers. ASRock is trying to lure them with promises to make the memory work in DDR4-5000 mode and higher when using 7nm Ryzen 3000 processors from the Matisse family.

The novelty is not deprived of the most modern interfaces, ranging from 10 Gigabit Ethernet, Thunderbolt 3, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 6 802.11ax with an external antenna, and ending with a USB 3.2 Gen2 connector for connecting a Type-C port on the front panel of the system unit. Each of the thousands of copies of the ASRock X570 Aqua motherboard is endowed with an individual serial number on the water block of the chipset.
